On the first weekend of May 2015, Tim, one of TTO’s long time friends and supporters, along with his friend, Jason, Jason’s colleagues and Miss Thanh paid a visit to TTO. They took the kids by van to a soccer field which TTO was able to purchase with the donations Tim and his friends had raised thru a charity dinner event two years ago! In Vietnam, soccer is a very popular sport among boys but usually these boys play in a small alley, so needless to say, it was a special treat and they all had a great time.
In the afternoon, Tim met with the builders to discuss the plan for an e-learning room that will help the kids at the orphanage learn computer skills. There will be ten PCs in the room and a full time teacher to assist the kids! The project will be completed in August. The picture below is just a model of what it will look like once completed!
