In mid-September ten of our English Club members went to TTO for the Autumn Festival. When we first arrived, a group of volunteers had been doing activities with the orphans for about one hour. There was excitement in the air and smiles on everyone’s faces. Once everyone had settled, the feature show began. Two beautiful belly dancers in full costume appeared and the exotic Arabic music began to play. Everyone’s eyes widened with delight. Most of us had never seen belly dancing before and we all enjoyed the performance immensely! After the dance, a few brave souls tried it out and brought much applause and laughter from the rest of us! See the photos below. Before leaving, Miss Cu had a big smile on her face and said, ”Thank you so much!”
